- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Sugar - 1 teaspoon
- Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 5 cloves, minced
- Water spinach - 1 pound
Let's Get Started
- Wash the water spinach thoroughly and cut into 3-inch lengths.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic to the pan and stir-fry until it turns golden brown.
- Add the water spinach to the pan and stir-fry for about 2 minutes, or until it wilts.
- Add the fish sauce, sugar, salt, and black pepper to the pan and continue to stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
- Serve the Rau Muong Xao Toi hot as a side dish.
