Ramen Soup
This flavorful ramen soup is made with a rich broth, tender noodles, and a variety of toppings.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Chili oil - 1 teaspoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Nori sheets - 2, shredded
- Corn kernels - 1/2 cup
- Bean sprouts - 1 cup
- Green onions - 2, sliced
- Soft-boiled eggs - 2
- Chicken breast - 1, cooked and sliced
- Ramen noodles - 2 packs
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Mirin - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Chicken broth - 4 cups
Let's Get Started
- In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil.
- Add the soy sauce, mirin, garlic, and ginger to the pot. Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes to infuse the flavors.
- Cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Divide the cooked noodles between two bowls.
- Pour the hot broth over the noodles.
- Top each bowl with sliced chicken breast, soft-boiled eggs, green onions, bean sprouts, corn kernels, and shredded nori.
- Drizzle with sesame oil and chili oil.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
