Pork Ramen

Ingredients - Serves 2

Let's Get Started

  1. In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the pork belly and cook for 5 minutes to remove any impurities. Drain and rinse the pork belly.
  2. In the same pot, combine the chicken broth, soy sauce, mirin, garlic, and ginger. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
  3. While the broth is simmering, cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the sesame oil. Cook the pork belly for 2-3 minutes on each side, until browned and crispy. Remove from the skillet and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  5. Divide the cooked ramen noodles between two bowls. Pour the hot broth over the noodles.
  6. Top each bowl with sliced pork belly, soft-boiled eggs, green onions, bean sprouts, and shredded nori sheets.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
