Persimmon Pudding
A rich, spiced pudding made with ripe persimmons, perfect for a fall or winter dessert.
Ingredients - Serves 8
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Nutmeg - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
- Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
- Flour - 1 1/2 cups
- Milk - 2 cups
- Butter - 1/2 cup, melted
- Eggs - 2
- Sugar - 1 1/2 cups
- Ripe persimmons - 2 cups, pureed
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine the persimmon puree, sugar, eggs, melted butter, and milk.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
