Let's Get Started

  1. Soak the white fungus in warm water until it expands. Trim off any hard parts.
  2. In a pot, add water and the rock sugar. Heat until the sugar is fully dissolved.
  3. Add the white fungus to the pot and simmer for 30 minutes.
  4. Cut the pears into large chunks and add them to the pot. Simmer for another 30 minutes.
  5. Serve warm or chilled.
