Let's Get Started

  1. Clean the duck and cut it into pieces.
  2. Season the duck with garlic, salt, and black pepper.
  3. In a large pot, bring the tucupi to a boil and add the duck pieces.
  4. Cook for about 2 hours, or until the duck is tender.
  5. In a separate pot, blanch the jambu leaves in boiling water.
  6. Add the blanched jambu leaves and chopped chili pepper to the pot with the duck and tucupi.
  7. Cook for an additional 10 minutes.
  8. Serve the Pato no Tucupi hot, with rice on the side if desired.
