Parsnip and Sage Stuffing
This delicious parsnip and sage stuffing is the perfect side dish for your holiday feast.
Ingredients - Serves 8
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Chicken or vegetable broth - 2 cups
- Bread cubes - 6 cups
- Butter - 4 tablespoons
- Fresh sage - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Celery - 2 stalks, diced
- Onion - 1 medium, diced
- Parsnips - 1 pound, peeled and diced
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the diced parsnips, onion, celery, and chopped sage. Cook until the vegetables are tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked vegetables with the bread cubes. Mix well.
- Pour the broth over the bread mixture and stir until evenly moistened. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
