Pancakes with Bacon and Maple Syrup

Ingredients - Serves 4
- Maple syrup - 1/2 cup
- Bacon - 8 slices
- Unsalted butter, melted - 1/4 cup
- Milk - 1 1/2 cups
- Eggs - 2
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Baking powder - 1 tablespoon
- All-purpose flour - 2 cups
Let's Get Started
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs and then add the milk and melted butter. Mix well.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, pour 1/4 cup of the pancake batter for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.
- Serve the pancakes with the crispy bacon and drizzle with maple syrup.
