Paella Valenciana is a classic Spanish dish that combines tasty rice with seafood, vegetables, and a variety of spices.
Ingredients - Serves 6
- Salt - To taste
- Water - 6 cups
- Rosemary - 1 sprig
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Saffron threads - 1/2 teaspoon
- Paella rice - 2 cups
- Tomatoes - 2, grated
- Garrofó - 1/2 cup, soaked overnight
- Green beans - 1 cup, trimmed
- Rabbit - 1/2, cut into pieces
- Chicken thighs - 6, bone-in and skin-on
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
Let's Get Started
- Heat the olive oil in a paella pan over medium heat.
- Add the chicken and rabbit and cook until browned on all sides.
- Add the green beans and garrofó and cook until they begin to soften.
- Add the grated tomatoes and cook until the mixture thickens.
