Oyster Po' Boy
A traditional sandwich from Louisiana, the Oyster Po' Boy is a delicious combination of fried oysters served on a French roll.

- Hot sauce - To taste
- Mayonnaise - To taste
- Tomato - 1, sliced
- Lettuce - 4 leaves
- French rolls - 4
- Vegetable oil - For frying
- Creole seasoning - 1 tablespoon
- Cornmeal - 1 cup
- All-purpose flour - 1 cup
- Buttermilk - 1 cup
- Oysters - 24, shucked
Let's Get Started
- Soak the oysters in the buttermilk for 15 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cornmeal, and Creole seasoning.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 375°F.
