  4. In a clean mixing bowl, beat the egg whites until foamy.
  5. Gradually add the sugar and continue beating until stiff peaks form.
  6. Remove the cake with ice cream from the freezer and spread the meringue mixture over the entire cake, covering it completely.
  7. Use a spatula to create decorative peaks on the meringue.
  8. Preheat the oven to 500°F (260°C).
  9. Place the cake in the preheated oven and bake for 5-7 minutes, or until the meringue is golden brown.
  10. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
