  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg yolks and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the flour to the mixture and mix until a dough forms.
  5. Press the dough into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, forming an even layer.
  6. Spread the apricot jam evenly over the dough.
  7. Sprinkle the chopped nuts and dried fruits over the jam.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely.
  10. Once cooled, dust the Mazurek with powdered sugar.
  11. Cut into squares or rectangles and serve.
