Korean Fried Rice with Kimchi

Let's Get Started

  1. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped bacon and cook until crispy. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the diced onion and minced garlic. Cook until the onion is translucent.
  4. Add the chopped kimchi and cook for 2-3 minutes, until heated through.
  5. Push the kimchi mixture to one side of the skillet and crack the eggs into the other side. Scramble the eggs until cooked.
  6. Combine the kimchi mixture and scrambled eggs in the skillet.
  7. Add the cooked rice, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.
  8. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the rice is heated through.
  9. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  10. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
