Korean BBQ Chicken Wings

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, sesame oil, rice vinegar, sesame seeds, and sliced green onions to make the marinade.
  3. Place the chicken wings in a large ziplock bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and massage the marinade into the wings. Let them marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or overnight for best results.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the chicken wings from the marinade, allowing any excess marinade to drip off, and place them in the skillet. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Sear the chicken wings for 2-3 minutes on each side, until they are golden brown.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken wings are cooked through and crispy.
  7. Remove from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
  8. Garnish with additional sliced green onions and sesame seeds, if desired.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy!
