Kimchi Fried Rice

Let's Get Started

  1. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped bacon and cook until crispy. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the diced onion and minced garlic. Cook until the onion is translucent.
  4. Add the chopped kimchi and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Push the kimchi mixture to one side of the skillet and crack the eggs into the empty space. Scramble the eggs until cooked.
  6. Add the cooked rice to the skillet and mix well with the kimchi and eggs.
  7. Drizzle soy sauce and sesame oil over the rice mixture. Stir to combine.
  8. Add the crispy bacon back to the skillet and mix well.
  9. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the rice is heated through.
  10. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  11. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
