Let's Get Started

  1. In a large pot, combine the water, sugar, brown sugar, hops, malt, and spices. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
  2. Remove the pot from the heat and let the mixture cool to room temperature.
  3. Once cooled, add the yeast and stir until it is fully dissolved.
  4. Cover the pot and let it ferment for 48 hours at room temperature.
  5. After 48 hours, strain the mixture into a clean container, discarding the solids.
  6. Add carbonated water to taste, then refrigerate until chilled.
  7. Serve the Julmust cold.
