  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook until browned on all sides, about 10 minutes.
  4. Remove the meatballs from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  6. Add the crushed tomatoes and bring to a simmer.
  7. Return the meatballs to the skillet, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through.
  8. Stir in the chopped basil and serve.
