Honey Roasted Parsnips
Sweet, tender parsnips roasted with honey and spices for a delicious side dish.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Fresh thyme - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Honey - 2 tablespoons
- Parsnips - 1 kg, peeled and quartered lengthways
Let's Get Started
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (180°C fan) mark 6.
- Place the parsnips in a large roasting tin and drizzle with the honey, olive oil, salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Toss everything together to ensure the parsnips are well coated.
- Roast for 30 minutes, or until the parsnips are golden and caramelised, turning halfway through.
- Serve hot as a delicious side dish.
