Herb Crusted Roast Beef
A succulent roast beef recipe with a delicious herb crust that adds an extra layer of flavor.
Ingredients - Serves 6
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Fresh thyme - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Fresh rosemary - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Garlic cloves - 3, minced
- Boneless beef roast - 3 pounds
Let's Get Started
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic, chopped rosemary, chopped thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Rub the beef roast with olive oil, then apply the herb mixture evenly over the surface of the meat.
- Place the roast on a rack in a roasting pan. Roast for about 1.5 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare.
- Remove the roast from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the roast for maximum flavor.
