  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a baking dish.
  2. Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  3. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour until smooth.
  4. Gradually whisk in the milk, then bring to a boil. Cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.
  5. Remove from the heat and stir in the cheese until melted. Add the ham, pineapple, salt, and pepper.
