Grilled Salami and Provolone Sandwich
A delicious and hearty sandwich filled with grilled salami and melted provolone cheese.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Pickles - To taste
- Mustard - To taste
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Bread - 4 slices
- Provolone cheese - 4 slices
- Salami - 4 slices
Let's Get Started
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- On the other side of two slices, spread mustard to taste.
- Place a slice of provolone cheese on the mustard side of the bread, then top with two slices of salami, and another slice of cheese.
- Top with the remaining slices of bread, butter side up.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Place the sandwiches in the skillet, cooking until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 4-5 minutes per side.
- Remove from the skillet and let cool for a minute.
- Slice in half and serve with pickles on the side.
