Grilled Clams with Chorizo
A delightful combination of fresh clams and spicy chorizo, grilled to perfection.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Lemon - 1, cut into wedges
- Parsley - 1/4 cup, chopped
- White wine - 1/2 cup
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Chorizo - 1/2 pound, sliced
- Fresh clams - 2 pounds
Let's Get Started
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chorizo and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
- Add the garlic to the skillet and cook for another minute.
- Add the clams, wine, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Cover and cook until the clams open, about 5-7 minutes.
- Discard any clams that do not open.
- Transfer the clams and chorizo to a grill pan and place on the preheated grill. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until slightly charred.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
