Gluten Free Focaccia Bread
This gluten-free focaccia bread is soft, fluffy, and full of flavor. It's perfect for sandwiches or as a side dish.
Ingredients - Serves 8
- Sea salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Fresh rosemary - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Warm water - 1 cup
- Olive oil - 1/4 cup
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Xanthan gum - 1 teaspoon
- Instant yeast - 2 teaspoons
- Gluten-free all-purpose flour - 2 cups
Let's Get Started
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the gluten-free flour, instant yeast, xanthan gum, and salt.
- Add the olive oil and warm water to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined.
- Cover the bowl with a clean kitchen towel and let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Grease a baking sheet with olive oil.
- Transfer the risen dough onto the greased baking sheet and gently press it into a rectangular shape.
- Using your fingers, make indentations all over the dough.
- Drizzle olive oil over the top of the dough and sprinkle with fresh rosemary and sea salt.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before slicing and serving.
