Ginger Milk Tea
A soothing and refreshing beverage made with fresh ginger, milk, and black tea.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Sugar - 2 tablespoons
- Milk - 1 cup
- Black tea leaves - 2 teaspoons
- Fresh ginger - 1 inch piece, peeled and thinly sliced
- Water - 2 cups
Let's Get Started
- In a pot, bring the water and ginger to a boil.
- Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes to infuse the ginger flavor into the water.
- Add the black tea leaves, cover the pot, and let it steep for 5 minutes.
- Strain the tea into a jug, discarding the ginger and tea leaves.
- Stir in the milk and sugar until well combined.
- Pour the tea into cups and serve hot.
