Let's Get Started

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the chicken and cook until it's no longer pink in the middle, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Remove the chicken from the pan and set it aside.
  4. In the same pan, add the bell peppers, onion, and garlic. Cook until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.
  5. Add the tomatoes and cook for another 2 minutes.
  6. Return the chicken to the pan and add the soy sauce. Stir everything together and season with salt and pepper.
  7. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, until everything is heated through.
  8. Serve the Frango Xadrez hot, with rice on the side if desired.
