Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F.
  2. In a blender, combine the foie gras, heavy cream, egg yolks, sugar, salt, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture into four ramekins.
  4. Place the ramekins in a baking dish and fill the dish with hot water until it reaches halfway up the sides of the ramekins.
  5. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the custards are set but still slightly wobbly in the center.
  6. Remove the ramekins from the water bath and let cool to room temperature.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until chilled.
  8. Before serving, sprinkle 1 tablespoon of turbinado sugar over each custard.
  9. Use a kitchen torch to caramelize the sugar until it's golden and bubbly.
  10. Let the crème brûlées sit for a few minutes to allow the sugar to harden before serving.
