Fig and Walnut Tagine

Ingredients - Serves 4
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Chicken stock - 2 cups
- Honey - 2 tablespoons
- Walnuts - 1/2 cup, chopped
- Dried figs - 1 cup, chopped
- Ground ginger - 1/2 teaspoon
- Ground cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
- Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Onions - 2, chopped
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
Let's Get Started
- Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add the onions and garlic and cook until the onions are soft, about 5 minutes.
- Add the cumin, cinnamon, and ginger and cook for another minute.
- Add the figs, walnuts, honey, and chicken stock. Season with salt and pepper.
