Feng Li Su

Ingredients - Serves 12
- Pineapple filling - 1 cup
- Milk powder - 1/4 cup
- Cake flour - 2 cups
- Egg yolk - 1 large
- Powdered sugar - 1/2 cup
- Butter - 1 cup, softened
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg yolk until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the cake flour and milk powder.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing just until a dough forms.
- Divide the dough into 12 equal portions. Flatten each portion into a disc and place a spoonful of pineapple filling in the center.
- Fold the dough over the filling and seal the edges, shaping it into a square or rectangle.
- Place the cakes on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Allow the cakes to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
