Com Dac Biet
Com Dac Biet is a Vietnamese special fried rice dish made with a combination of meats, vegetables, and aromatic spices.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Eggs - 2, beaten
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Oyster sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Fish sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Green onions - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Peas - 1/2 cup
- Carrots - 1/2 cup, diced
- Pork loin - 1/2 cup, thinly sliced
- Shrimp - 1/2 cup, peeled and deveined
- Chicken breast - 1, boneless and diced
- Cooked rice - 4 cups
Let's Get Started
- Heat a large skillet or wok over medium heat and add some oil.
- Add the chicken, shrimp, and pork. Cook until they are cooked through and slightly browned.
- Push the cooked meats to one side of the skillet and add the carrots, peas, green onions, and garlic. Stir-fry for a few minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet and add the beaten eggs. Scramble the eggs until they are fully cooked.
- Add the cooked rice to the skillet and mix well with the meats, vegetables, and eggs.
- In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, fish sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Pour the sauce over the rice mixture and stir to combine.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Continue cooking for a few more minutes until everything is heated through and well combined.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
