Ingredients - Serves 6

Let's Get Started

  1. In a saucepan, combine water, butter, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
  2. Remove from heat and add flour. Stir until the mixture forms a ball.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs. Gradually add the beaten eggs to the dough mixture, stirring well after each addition.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan or pot to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Transfer the dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
  6. Pipe 4-6 inch long churros into the hot oil, cutting them with scissors.
  7. Fry the churros until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  8. Remove the churros from the oil and drain on paper towels.
  9. In a separate bowl, mix cinnamon and sugar.
  10. Roll the warm churros in the cinnamon sugar mixture until coated.
  11. Serve the churros warm and enjoy!
