Chicken Stir Fry
This delicious chicken stir fry is packed with colorful vegetables and tender chicken, all tossed in a flavorful sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Oyster sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Snow peas - 1 cup
- Carrots - 2, julienned
- Broccoli florets - 2 cups
- Bell peppers - 2, sliced
- Chicken breast - 2, boneless and skinless, sliced
Let's Get Started
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
- Add chicken slices and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and ginger. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, and snow peas. Stir fry for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are crisp-tender.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and pour the sauce over the chicken and vegetables. Stir well to coat everything evenly.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken and vegetables.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
