Chicken and Steak Burrito Bowl
This delicious burrito bowl is filled with seasoned chicken, steak, rice, beans, and a variety of toppings.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
- Cumin - 1 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Lime - 1, juiced
- Cilantro - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Salsa - 1/2 cup
- Sour cream - 1/2 cup
- Lettuce - 2 cups, shredded
- Avocado - 1, sliced
- Tomatoes - 2, diced
- Corn - 1 cup, cooked
- Black beans - 1 can, drained and rinsed
- Cooked rice - 2 cups
- Steak - 1 pound, thinly sliced
- Chicken breast - 2, boneless and skinless
Let's Get Started
- In a bowl, combine the olive oil, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Add the chicken breast to the bowl and coat it with the marinade. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken breast for 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through. Set aside.
- In the same grill or skillet, cook the steak slices for 2-3 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired doneness. Set aside.
- In a serving bowl, layer the cooked rice, black beans, corn, tomatoes, avocado, and lettuce.
- Slice the cooked chicken breast and steak into strips and add them to the bowl.
- Drizzle the sour cream and salsa over the bowl.
- Sprinkle with chopped cilantro and squeeze lime juice over the top.
- Serve the chicken and steak burrito bowl immediately and enjoy!
