Bubble and Squeak is a traditional British dish made with leftover mashed potatoes and vegetables, fried until crispy.

- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Onion - 1, finely chopped
- Cooked vegetables (e.g., cabbage, carrots, peas) - 1 cup, chopped
- Mashed potatoes - 2 cups, cold

- In a large bowl, combine the mashed potatoes, cooked vegetables, and chopped onion. Season with salt and pepper.
- Heat the butter and vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.

- Carefully flip the bubble and squeak using a large spatula.
- Cook for another 8-10 minutes, or until the other side is golden brown and crispy.
