Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onions, celery, and garlic and cook until soft, about 10 minutes.
  3. Stir in the parsley, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Place the dried bread cubes in a large bowl. Pour the onion and celery mixture over the bread. Stir well to combine.
  5. Gradually add the chicken broth, stirring after each addition to ensure all the bread is moistened.
  6. Stir in the beaten eggs until well combined.
  7. Transfer the stuffing mixture to the prepared baking dish. Cover with foil.
  8. Bake for 30 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake for another 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
