Ingredients - Serves 6

Let's Get Started

  1. In a large pot, boil the assorted meats with chopped onions, seasoning cubes, and salt until tender.
  2. Add the stockfish and dry fish to the pot and continue boiling for another 10 minutes.
  3. Heat the palm oil in a separate pot and add the chopped onions. Sauté until the onions are translucent.
  4. Add the blended pepper and crayfish to the pot and cook for 5 minutes.
  5. Add the boiled meats, stockfish, and dry fish to the pot with the palm oil mixture. Stir well.
  6. Add the bitter leaf and uziza leaves (if using) to the pot. Stir and simmer for 15 minutes.
  7. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
  8. Serve hot with your choice of swallow (e.g., pounded yam, eba, or fufu).
