Beef Gyro with Tzatziki Sauce

Let's Get Started

  1. Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the beef strips and cook until browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  2. In the same pan, add the garlic and red onion and cook until softened.
  3. To make the tzatziki sauce, combine the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, garlic, lemon juice, fresh dill, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Stir until well combined.
  4. To assemble the gyros, spread a generous amount of tzatziki sauce on each pita bread. Top with the cooked beef strips, sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, shredded lettuce, and crumbled feta cheese.
  5. Fold the pita bread over the fillings and serve the beef gyros with extra tzatziki sauce on the side.
