  3. Add the milk, egg, vanilla extract, and melted butter to the mashed bananas. Stir until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring until just combined. Do not overmix; a few lumps are okay.
  5. Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Grease with a small amount of butter or cooking spray.
  6. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown.
  7. Repeat with the remaining batter.
  8. Serve the banana pancakes warm with maple syrup and sliced bananas on top.
