Baked Beans on Toast
A classic and comforting dish of baked beans served on crispy toast.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Hot sauce - To taste
- Chopped parsley - 1 tablespoon
- Grated cheese - 1/4 cup

- Black pepper - To taste
- Salt - To taste
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Bread slices - 4
- Canned baked beans - 1 can
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Heat the canned baked beans in a saucepan over medium heat until heated through.
- While the beans are heating, toast the bread slices until crispy.
- Spread butter on one side of each toast slice.
- Divide the heated baked beans evenly and spoon them over the buttered side of two toast slices.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- If desired, sprinkle grated cheese over the beans and place the toasts on a baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped parsley.
