Baked Beans on Toast

Ingredients - Serves 2

Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Heat the canned baked beans in a saucepan over medium heat until heated through.
  3. While the beans are heating, toast the bread slices until crispy.
  4. Spread butter on one side of each toast slice.
  5. Divide the heated baked beans evenly and spoon them over the buttered side of two toast slices.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  7. If desired, sprinkle grated cheese over the beans and place the toasts on a baking sheet.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped parsley.
