Bacon and Swiss Quiche
This delicious bacon and Swiss quiche is perfect for breakfast or brunch. It's filled with crispy bacon, Swiss cheese, and a creamy egg custard.
Ingredients - Serves 6
- Chives - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Milk - 1 cup
- Eggs - 4
- Swiss cheese - 1 cup, shredded
- Bacon - 6 slices, cooked and crumbled
- Pie crust - 1, store-bought or homemade
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the pie crust in a 9-inch (23 cm) pie dish and crimp the edges.
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper.
- Sprinkle half of the bacon and Swiss cheese over the bottom of the pie crust.
- Pour the egg mixture over the bacon and cheese.
- Sprinkle the remaining bacon and Swiss cheese on top.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the quiche is set and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
- Garnish with chopped chives before serving.
