Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the pie crust in a 9-inch (23 cm) pie dish and crimp the edges.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Sprinkle half of the bacon and Swiss cheese over the bottom of the pie crust.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the bacon and cheese.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining bacon and Swiss cheese on top.
  7. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the quiche is set and golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
  9. Garnish with chopped chives before serving.
