Bacon and Onion Mashed Potatoes

- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Milk - 1/2 cup
- Butter - 1/4 cup
- Onion - 1 large, finely chopped
- Bacon - 6 slices, cooked and crumbled
- Potatoes - 2 pounds, peeled and quartered

- Place the potatoes in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer until the potatoes are tender, about 20 minutes.
- While the potatoes are cooking, cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy. Remove the bacon and set aside, leaving the bacon grease in the skillet.
