Ayva Tatlisi
Ayva Tatlısı is a traditional Turkish dessert made from quince, sugar, and cloves. It's often served with a topping of thick cream or ground walnuts.

- Cream or ground walnuts - For serving
- Lemon - 1, juiced
- Water - 2 cups
- Cloves - 4
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Quince - 2 large
Let's Get Started
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Peel the quinces, cut them in half and remove the cores. Place the quince halves in a baking dish.
- In each quince hollow, put a clove and sprinkle with sugar. Pour the water and lemon juice over the quinces.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for about 1 hour, or until the quinces are soft and the syrup is thick.
- Let the quinces cool in the syrup, then serve with a dollop of thick cream or a sprinkle of ground walnuts.
