Air Fryer Beef Jerky
This homemade beef jerky is made using an air fryer, resulting in a delicious and flavorful snack.
Ingredients - Serves 8
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Liquid smoke - 1 teaspoon
- Worcestershire sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 1/4 cup
- Beef sirloin or flank steak - 1 pound, thinly sliced
Let's Get Started
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, liquid smoke, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix well.
- Add the thinly sliced beef to the marinade and toss to coat. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
- Preheat the air fryer to 160°C (320°F).
- Remove the beef from the marinade and pat dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- Place the beef slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they don't overlap.
- Air fry the beef at 160°C (320°F) for 3-4 hours, flipping the slices halfway through. Cooking time may vary depending on the thickness of the slices and desired level of chewiness.
- Once the beef jerky is cooked to your desired texture, remove it from the air fryer and let it cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
- Enjoy your homemade air fryer beef jerky as a tasty and protein-packed snack!
