Yuzu Ramen

Yuzu ramen is a flavorful and refreshing twist on traditional ramen, featuring the citrusy taste of yuzu.

Ingredients

  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Nori sheets - 2, shredded
  • Corn kernels - 1/2 cup
  • Bean sprouts - 1 cup
  • Soft - boiled eggs - 2
  • Green onions - 2, thinly sliced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Mirin - 1 tablespoon
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Yuzu juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Chicken broth - 4 cups
  • Ramen noodles - 2 packs

Instructions

  1. Cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a simmer over medium heat.
  3. Add the yuzu juice, soy sauce, mirin, garlic, and ginger to the pot. Stir well to combine.
  4. Simmer the broth for 10 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
  5. Divide the cooked ramen noodles between two bowls.
  6. Pour the hot yuzu broth over the noodles.
  7. Top each bowl with sliced green onions, soft-boiled eggs, bean sprouts, corn kernels, shredded nori, and sesame seeds.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
