Vegetariana Pizza

This delicious vegetarian pizza is loaded with fresh vegetables and gooey cheese.

Ingredients

  • Salt and pepper - To taste
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh basil - 1/4 cup, chopped
  • Black olives - 1/4 cup, sliced
  • Mushrooms - 1/2 cup, sliced
  • Red onion - 1/4 cup, thinly sliced
  • Bell peppers - 1/2 cup, sliced
  • Mozzarella cheese - 2 cups, shredded
  • Tomato sauce - 1/2 cup
  • Pizza dough - 1 pound

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  3. Transfer the dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  4. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  6. Top with sliced bell peppers, red onion, mushrooms, and black olives.
  7. Drizzle olive oil over the toppings and season with salt and pepper.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh chopped basil.
  10. Slice and serve hot.
