Vegan Pizza

This delicious vegan pizza is made with a homemade crust and topped with plant-based ingredients.

Ingredients

  • Salt and pepper - To taste
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh basil - 1/4 cup, chopped
  • Black olives - 1/4 cup, sliced
  • Mushrooms - 1/2 cup, sliced
  • Red onion - 1/4 cup, thinly sliced
  • Bell peppers - 1/2 cup, sliced
  • Vegan cheese - 1 cup, shredded
  • Tomato sauce - 1/2 cup
  • Pizza dough - 1 package

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  3. Transfer the dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  4. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough.
  5. Sprinkle the vegan cheese on top of the sauce.
  6. Add the bell peppers, red onion, mushrooms, and black olives as desired.
  7. Drizzle the olive oil over the toppings.
  8. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is melted.
  10. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh basil.
  11. Slice and serve hot.
