Vegan Cauliflower Steak

A delicious and hearty vegan main course, this cauliflower steak is seasoned with a blend of powerful spices and roasted to perfection.

Ingredients

  • Fresh parsley - For garnish
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Cauliflower - 1 large head

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Remove the leaves from the cauliflower and cut the stem off so the cauliflower can sit flat, then cut the cauliflower into thick slices.
  3. Mix the olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Brush this mixture onto both sides of each cauliflower slice.
  4. Place the seasoned cauliflower slices on a baking sheet and roast in the oven for about 30 minutes, or until tender and slightly golden.
  5. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
