Tuna Steak Eggs Benedict

A twist on the classic Eggs Benedict, this recipe features seared tuna steak and a tangy hollandaise sauce.

Ingredients

  • Chives - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Hollandaise sauce - 1 cup
  • Eggs - 4, poached
  • English muffins - 4, split and toasted
  • Salt and pepper - To taste
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Tuna steaks - 4, about 6 ounces each

Instructions

  1. Season the tuna steaks with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the tuna steaks and sear for about 2 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.
  3. Place each toasted English muffin half on a plate. Top with a seared tuna steak.
  4. Place a poached egg on top of each tuna steak.
  5. Drizzle with hollandaise sauce and sprinkle with chopped chives.
  6. Serve immediately.
