Tsuivan Guril

Tsuivan Guril is a traditional Mongolian dish made with stir-fried noodles, vegetables, and meat.

Ingredients

  • Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped (for garnish)
  • Salt and pepper - To taste
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Oyster sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Cabbage - 1/2 small head, thinly sliced
  • Bell pepper - 1 large, thinly sliced
  • Carrot - 2 medium, julienned
  • Onion - 1 large, thinly sliced
  • Egg noodles - 300 grams
  • Beef - 500 grams, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over high heat.
  3. Add the beef slices and stir-fry until browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add the onion, carrot, bell pepper, cabbage, and garlic. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Return the beef to the pan and add the cooked egg noodles.
  6. Drizzle the soy sauce and oyster sauce over the noodles and vegetables. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes, or until everything is well combined and heated through.
  8. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions.
  9. Serve hot and enjoy!
