Ingredients

  • Red chili - 1, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Brown sugar - 1 tablespoon
  • Lime juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Fish sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Cherry tomatoes - 1 cup, halved
  • Cucumber - 1, thinly sliced
  • Red onion - 1, thinly sliced
  • Fresh basil - 1/2 cup, chopped
  • Fresh cilantro - 1/2 cup, chopped
  • Fresh mint - 1/2 cup, chopped
  • Rice noodles - 200 grams
  • Beef steak - 500 grams

Instructions

  1. Cook the beef steak to your desired level of doneness. Let it rest for a few minutes, then slice it thinly.
  2. Cook the rice noodles according to the package instructions. Rinse under cold water and drain.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the mint, cilantro, basil, red onion, cucumber, and cherry tomatoes.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the fish sauce, lime juice, brown sugar, garlic, and red chili.
  5. Add the beef and noodles to the bowl with the herbs and vegetables. Pour the dressing over the top and toss well to combine.
  6. Serve the salad chilled or at room temperature.
