Swiss Chard and Ham Frittata

This delicious frittata combines Swiss chard, ham, and cheese for a flavorful and satisfying meal.

Ingredients

  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Salt and pepper - To taste
  • Cheddar cheese - 1 cup, shredded
  • Milk - 1/4 cup
  • Eggs - 8
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Onion - 1 medium, diced
  • Ham - 1 cup, diced
  • Swiss chard - 1 bunch, stems removed and leaves chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, and cook until the onion is translucent.
  4. Add the Swiss chard and cook until wilted, about 5 minutes.
  5. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  6. Pour the egg mixture into the skillet, covering the Swiss chard and onion mixture.
  7. Sprinkle the diced ham and shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
  8. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the frittata is set and the cheese is melted and golden.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
